Training Data is the collection of examples that an AI system learns from. The quality and diversity of training data directly affects how well the AI performs. Biased or limited training data leads to biased or limited AI. Modern language models are trained on hundreds of billions of words from the internet, books, and other sources.
💡Real-World Example
An AI trained only on English text won't understand Spanish, and an AI trained only on formal writing might struggle with casual conversation.
