China Opens World’s First Wind-Powered Underwater Data Center

# China Opens World's First Wind-Powered Underwater Data Center China just built the world's first data center underwater, powered by wind turbines on the surface. Instead of using expensive air conditioning systems like traditional data centers, it pumps cold seawater through the facility to keep servers cool, which saves enormous amounts of energy and money. This matters because data centers currently consume about 1-2% of global electricity, so innovations like this could significantly reduce the energy costs of storing all the data we rely on daily.
With an initial capacity of 24 megawatts, the innovative data center uses seawater as a natural cooling system.
