General Intuition in talks to raise $300M at around $2B valuation

# General Intuition Raises Funding to Build AI That Understands the Physical World A startup called General Intuition is raising $300 million to develop AI systems that can understand and navigate the real world—similar to how humans learn by watching and experiencing things. The company is using videos from everyday people's phones and devices to teach its AI how physical objects behave and interact, which could eventually help power robots, autonomous vehicles, or other systems that need to operate in the real world. At a $2 billion valuation, the company is betting that this type of real-world understanding will be more valuable than today's AI assistants that mainly process text and images.
The startup trains embodied AI and world models using Medal’s dataset of 2 billion videos per year from 10 million monthly active users.
