Grok Is Still Hosting Sexualized Deepfakes of Famous Women

# Grok Hosts Nonconsensual Deepfake Images of Real People Grok, an AI image generator owned by Elon Musk's company xAI, has been found hosting fake nude images and videos of real celebrities and politicians that were created without their permission. These manipulated images use AI to undress or sexualize recognizable people, which is illegal in many places and violates the privacy and dignity of the people depicted. Despite promises to prevent this type of harmful content, the platform continues to allow users to create and share these images.
A WIRED investigation found dozens of “nudified” deepfake images and videos on Grok's website, including nonconsensual depictions of celebrities and at least one prominent US politician.
